Another year has come, and I bet a lot of you read so many books that you hated and loved. As a book lover, I’ve experienced a lot of ups and downs last year. I thought I could read at least 50 books, but I failed my Goodreads challenge, and it made me kind of sad neutral However, I’m looking forward to another year where more books await!
Our Bookish Goals
For 2016, I wish to read at least two books a month, and to try different genrés. I won’t be too hard on myself with keeping up with the trends, and keep a steady pace, even if it’s slow. I will try to meet new bookish friends that I can have chats over coffee with, and talk about anything under the sun. I will always be grateful to my co-bloggers who stuck with me. And lastly, I will remember to wash my superhero spandex at least once a week to avoid smelling funny.
My reading resolution is to read more books I want to read and less books for review. To devote more time to Instagram and even tweak my review style to something a little less formal and throw a bit more Aussie slang in thee just to confuse readers. And I would like to start staging random home invasions dressed in nothing but a balaclava and butchers knife, purely for my own entertainment.
I’d like to read more books outside of the genres I’m used to. And I’d like to continue and actually finish books I’ve started reading but have gotten distracted from. And I promise to get professional help for my kleptomania. This book thieving has to stop.
